Out of Hours
Medical cover is provided 24 hours a day. If you need a doctor urgently outside Surgery hours, please phone 111 or the surgery telephone number and select option 1 to be redirected to the Out of Hours service.

Home Visits
Please only ask the doctor to call if the patient is too ill to attend either surgery. If you are in doubt, you may discuss the matter with one of the doctors on the telephone. Please try to phone before 11am

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment.

Zero Tolerance

We operate a Zero Tolerance Policy with regard to abuse or violence towards our staff. We reserve the right to remove abusive or violent patients from the Practice List.

PROCESSING OF ALL COMPLAINTS HAS BEEN SUSPENDED ON THE INSTRUCTION OF NHS ENGLAND IN ORDER TO ENABLE PRACTICES TO CONCENTRATE ON THE CURRENT COVID-19 CRISIS.  PLEASE BE ASSURED THAT AS SOON AS THIS SUSPENSION IS LIFTED WE WILL PROCESS ALL ONOING AND NEW COMPLAINTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR NORMAL PROCEDURES.  THANK YOU

Please be aware of bogus phone calls during this difficult time.  The Pratice staff will be making phone calls to our most vulnerable patients during this lockdown period but at no time will we ask for any financial details from you.  Our calls are purely to offer support to you and enquire after your welfare.  We have been made aware that there are some scam phone calls being made by people claiming to be from the GP practice, bank or police.

We are open on Bank Holiday Friday.  Please don't hesitate to ring with your queries as normal.

Currently Extended hours are suspended in order that we can better use our staff in core hours (8-6.30 Monday to Friday).

Once the Coronavirus crisis passes we will be sure to update you on changes going forward.

Where possible we will deal with your queries by telephone or video consultation.

All patient will be screened for symptoms of coronavirus before arranging face to face appointments or visits within 24 hours of the planned appointment time.

Please bear with us.  We have implemented these changes as instructed by the government and for the safety of everyone.

We have been told to suspend a number of routine services in order to concentrate on the current crisis. Please see the Covid-19 page for the list.

If you are struggling with help for collection of your medication or shopping, please contact us and we can make a direct referral to the volunteer scheme for you.
